About This Section
Riding with the chapter on weekend day trips is fun and a great way to explore the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The next step, for those that have not done it, are overnight and extended days trips like Sturgis for example. These extended trips provide riding through varied geography and seeing the sights of America. There is nothing better than relaxing after a full day of riding on the way to Yellowstone or Grand Canyon and talking about the days ride. In this section I will describe trips that I have taken with the chapter and other friends. If you would like to have one of your trips here send me the details and I will put it up.

Death Valley National Park is a beautiful place to visit in Feb./March when the weather is cooler. We Have done this ride for at least 12 years. It is just under 500 miles on-way from Fremont so it is a minimum 3 day trip if you want to explore the Valley. We have done the trip as a Fri.-Sat.-Sun ride as well as a Sat.-Sun.-Mon. ride.
